About

Glenn Akst is the Chief Operating Officer, where he oversees operational performance, platform management, and the design and execution of the company’s technical and operational infrastructure. With more than two decades in enterprise software sales and a foundation in civil engineering, he brings a rare combination of land development expertise and technical fluency to solve challenges in the rapidly evolving data center market.

Prior to Highland Digital, Glenn served in leadership roles at Salesforce, Oracle, MuleSoft, and Sun Microsystems, advising enterprise and federal customers. This experience informs his ability to translate hyperscale end-user requirements into data center site selection and infrastructure planning.

Glenn holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Villanova University, is a State of Georgia Engineer-in-Training, and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, outdoor activities, and supporting youth programs that inspire the next generation of leaders.
